Blue Chihuly by rioka Blue Chihuly by rioka
During the summer of 2006, the Botanical Garden had an exhibition featuring the works of the glassmaker, Chihuly.

This particular set was at the entrance to the Rose garden. The blue spires in the back actually rose upwards to the sky and ranged from average human height to taller (above 6';).

These pieces were shown at the New York Botanical Garden this past summer (2006). It was going for about three months I think. I don't know if they're going to do this exhibition again but I can safely say that there was a lot of people there - and I went twice. n_n
